Board of Directors

Matt Rocco

Matt Rocco is board chairman and co-founder of the Sawmill 6th Man NIL Collective. Matt is also the President and CEO of Etech Global Services. Etech is a multinational business process outsourcing company with over 4,000 employees across office in Texas, Florida, Jamaica, and India. Matt was one of the founders of Etech that started the company with a couple hundred employees in one center in Nacogdoches, Texas in 2003. Nacogdoches remains the headquarter location of Etech.
Matt grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He played college basketball at Dickinson where he lettered 4 years serving as the captain his senior season. He also helped lead the Dickinson Red Devils to 2 NCAA D3 tournaments in his 4 years there. When Matt, his wife April and 5 children relocated to Nacogdoches in 2000 for a business opportunity, the whole family immediately became fans of the SFA Men’s Basketball team under the direction of Coach Danny Kaspar. Matt and Danny remain good friends to this day.
Matt choose to get involved with helping to start a NIL collective for SFA because he strongly believes that the competitive landscape for recruiting top talent has changed significantly with the introduction of the NIL program. For SFA to be able to attract top basketball players, there must be viable and sustainable NIL support. He also excited about the opportunity for these student-athletes to get involved with many of the non-profits in Nacogdoches County through the NIL Sawmill 6th Man. It is a win for the student-athletes, the university and the community.
Matt can be reached at matt.rocco@etechgs.com. He encourages anyone who wants to get involved or learn more to contact him directly.

Gary Miller

Our family is SFA proud. We arrived in Nacogdoches the summer of 1978 when my father became the head coach for SFA Men’s Basketball. From the time I was 13 until graduating from SFA, most of my spare time was spent on the SFA campus. Whether it was sneaking into the HPE Complex to play basketball throughout my middle and high school years to graduating from SFA with a BBA, I have always been proud of my university.

The SFA Men’s Basketball program has great leadership with Coach Kyle Keller at the helm along with his staff and the wonderful young men who represent our university. From a 10 game win streak last year that enabled SFA to capture the regular season championship, as first year participants in the WAC, to another strong team this year, you can see the hard work and effort these young men put forth to be successful on the court. Off the court, these young men volunteer and help those that are less fortunate on a routine basis. It is a special group of people who represent our university and which I am proud to support.

My brother Tom & I along with our sister-in-law Ardan Miller supported the new performance center by honoring our parents Coach Harry and Tillie Miller. It was not only important for us to recognize their commitment to SFA Men’s Basketball, but also proclaiming our loyalty to this historic program.
